Hacienda CDC – Youth & Family Resident Services Partner
Hacienda has over 26 years of experience providing culturally specific services, which eliminate structural, cultural, and linguistic barriers and foster a sense of safety, understanding and belonging for residents and program participants. These practices lead to better outcomes for clients such as increased housing and family stability as well as increased social capital. Our programs offer a variety of important education and social support services to children from birth to 8th grade. We provide children with academic support, cultural enrichment, and health services that help them reach their full potential. Dr. Steven Holt & Ericka Warren – Outreach Facilitator & Convener
Dr. Steven Holt is the principal of Try Excellence, LLC specializing in facilitation, training and consultation with an eye on equity, inclusion and diversity. Dr. Holt brings a keen ability to communicate effectively across racial, ethnic, and gender lines and serves as a consultant to the City of Portland, City of Gresham and other government and private institutions. Ericka Warren is co-consultant and facilitator for Try Excellence. She has vast experience as a national community leader, educator and coach. Ericka brings extensive insight into the process of creating inclusive communities.
