As a place for connection, remembrance, and a hub for those who live, work and play in our region. hollywoodHUB should reflect the city and the neighborhood’s priorities of diversity, inclusivity, and anti-discrimination. The project will reflect the values of the community by:

• Embedding a memorial to the May 2017 tragedy into the design ethos and expression of the overall site, respecting and reinforcing the importance of community, and the reality and importance of connectivity
• Activating the pedestrian experience with a ‘paseo’ or market street attracting people to the community and creating a sense of place through community-serving retail
• Serving as an example of the next generation of inclusive and equitable transit, housing and community investment in the Portland metro area
